2.1 The following Privacy Policy ("Privacy Policy"), details the information gathering and dissemination practices of Sanofi-Aventis.
2.2 The Privacy Policy outlines the types of information that Sanofi-Aventis gathers about individual visiting the Site, how Sanofi-Aventis collects and makes use of such information, including saving and sharing the information with third parties, etc.

2.6 Sanofi-Aventis may share the Information with the following (i) service providers and vendors that assist Sanofi in providing Services such as IT service providers, legal advisers, etc; (ii) third parties in the event of any reorganization, merger, sale, joint venture, assignment, transfer or other disposition of all or any portion of Sanofi-Aventis’s business; (iii) other companies being members of Sanofi Group such as our affiliates, subsidiaries etc.

2.8 Please note that the Information may be transferred to other countries. The privacy and data protection laws in such countries may not have the same privacy and data protection laws as in Israel. By using the Site or providing Sanofi-Aventis with your Personal Information, you consent to the collection, storage (including in cloud), processing and transfer of Information as provided in these Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
2.9 Sanofi-Aventis will retain your Information for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is permitted or required by law to fulfill the purposes.
2.10 Cookies – A cookie is a file that is placed on the user's hard disk by a web server, without causing any harm. It enables collecting statistical information about the user's browsing habits, in order to ascertain his/her preferences and needs. The Site may place cookies on your computer and collect data about your activities on the site, your preferences and selections. These cookies will be used for statistical purposes of the Site,. 2.12 Sanofi-Aventis may also track your usage of the site through the use of pixel tags. A pixel tag is a tiny graphic on a web page that is used to track pages viewed. Pixel tags may collect information such as the IP address and browser type related to the visitor's computer. Pixel tags may be placed on online advertisements and on different pages of our sites. Pixel tags provide Sanofi-Aventis with information on how many times a page in the Site is opened and which information is consulted.
2.13 Sanofi-Aventis may also automatically collect and store web log information relating to your computer and your visit, such as the name of the domain and host from which you access the Internet; the Internet address of the website from which you linked to the Site; the date and time you accessed the Site, how long you spent and which pages you visited; your computer's operating system and browser software; and your Internet protocol (IP) address.
